Wither Must I Wander

I'm encouraging myself to continue my surreal photo montages.  I have a series of these and I am adding to my collection.  I'll be posting these every so often.

Is there something we have forgotten? Some precious thing we have lost, wandering in strange lands?

I always love entering the Getty Museum.  These plants take my breath away.
Color does not add a pleasant quality to design - it reinforces it.

For some people it's time for lots of reflection and changes in life. Many times in life we  go through a lot of pain and come out on the other side to know that the change becomes a new kind of adventure.  Here's to the beginning of freedom and remembering exactly who you are.

Did I Fool Ya?

Here's another photo from my Getty adventure.  I found these ladies in the garden area.  Sometimes I just marvel at the creativity of artists!  Wow, such a thing to behold.

It is not hard to understand modern art. If it hangs on a wall it's a painting, and if you can walk around it it's a sculpture.

We Believe In Something Unusual

I always love going to the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.  This time I took the architecture tour (free).  This is one of the best and most economical places to visit in LA.  It costs $15.00 to park and everything else is free, except food, of course.  It's a wonderful way to spend the day.  Hopefully, by tomorrow I can begin just posting one photo a day.  I'm sure that I'll have many more photos to post from this day.

How does one measure the success of a museum?

I'm Glad I'm a Girl

When I was in Santa Monica on a walk, I looked over and saw this beautiful little girl looking like a GAP advertisement just waiting to be made.  Her caretaker gave me permission and the little one was very cooperative.  Talk about a  cherubic face; a photographer's dream.   I decided to turn one of them into a pastel sketch in Photoshop.

Just to show everyone that I haven't been slacking, I'm posting 10 photographs today. These are part of a day spent in Laguna Beach with my family.  I have a Photoshop piece in the mix also.

Every now and then,
when the world sits just right,

a gentle breath of heaven

fills my soul with delight...

Wow, I had the greatest photo shoot with Leone Ray, a beautiful little boy with the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen!  Since then I've pretty much been on vacation, so I'll post as many pictures as days I've missed.  Some days are meant for making pictures, and some days are made for posting them!  Here we go!
