Arboretum

I haven't posted photos in the recent past because I just put in a new 1TB hard drive in my Mac Pro, otherwise known as "Big Papa".  It wasn't difficult, just time-consuming.  So far, so great.  Now I have much increased space, which I need because I have 24,000 photos and 15,000 songs in my itunes library.  The photos for today were taken on my trip to the Getty Museum.  The paint on the arboretum is the only paint on the entire property that's not white.

Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.

I always love entering the Getty Museum.  These plants take my breath away.
Color does not add a pleasant quality to design - it reinforces it.

We Believe In Something Unusual

I always love going to the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.  This time I took the architecture tour (free).  This is one of the best and most economical places to visit in LA.  It costs $15.00 to park and everything else is free, except food, of course.  It's a wonderful way to spend the day.  Hopefully, by tomorrow I can begin just posting one photo a day.  I'm sure that I'll have many more photos to post from this day.

How does one measure the success of a museum?
