Have No Fear

On October 1st and 2nd in more than 1,100 cities around the world nearly 30,000 photographers collectively took literally millions of photos as part of their local Photo Walk.  My photowalk was the Sunset Junction Photowalk in Silverlake California.  I mets some wonderful people and had a lot of fun.  Anyone can participate and there is no fee.  This is an annual event and it was my first.  I plan on participating in many more in the years ahead.  This walk is for people who love photography and you can make pictures with any kind of camera and be any level of photographer from beginner to professional.  I will be posting several of my photos in the days and weeks to come.  This first one is a collage of my day.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

You Make Me Smile

What are little boys made of?  Well, this one is made with a beautiful face and eyes to match.  This is one of my collage experiments.

Silhouettes

Here's a Photoshop piece for the week.  I thought it might fit the Halloween theme somewhat.
I say that I can't make anything up. I think of myself as a collage artist. I'm cutting and pasting memories of my life. And I say, I have to live a life in order to tell a life. I would prefer to tell it because telling you're always in control, you're like God.

Dance, Dance, Dance

Sofia was such a little mover and shaker that I had to make a collage of all her dance moves.  She was just so happy and exuberant.  I did a lot of smiling that day.

Dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body.

For some reason I was inspired to do several Photoshop pieces of my Sofia shoot.  I just loved Sofia's little feet.

Well, here's my Photoshop Art piece for this week.  It reminds me of summer coming to an end. There's a certain sadness to it.

Beautiful Kylee

Since I haven't posted any pictures for the last 2 days I thought I'd post 3 today to make up for it.  I think that I've decided to do that from now on if I skip any days.  I loved the photo shoot I did with 3 of my favorite children last year.  In the next few days I'll post the boys.  Today it's Kylee's turn.  She's a natural beauty with the most amazing eyes.  What a sweetie.

This is one of my Photoshop projects that I've had on my mind for many years. Finally, I did it with many, many, many cutouts. These are photographs taken in planes, backyards, on lakes and parking lots.
